At this hometown favorite, gator tails and frog legs are served with a specialty spicy “swamp sauce” are on the menu. Visit Wellington for a unique neighborhood: Wellington Aero Club. The Aero Club includes 240 homes and a centralized private paved runway. Many homes also include private hangers, and residents have formed a tight social group around their love for aviation. Then, it’s off to Taylor Made Café in Wellington for a healthy and nutritious meal. Founder Taylor Hughes was once active in the equestrian community and realized that healthy food options were not readily available to the participants. Years later, she has built her self-taught cooking skills and creative approach to flavor into a full restaurant. Taylor Made Café serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catering options – all with a focus on nutrition and whole, healthy meals. At the Boca Raton Historical Society, the history and stories of the city are well preserved.
